The Bane of My Apartment’s Existence

The end of this month means the end of my first apartment’s lease and through my first year of living on my own, I have learned a lot about what it means to be independent. Although my housemates and I have gone through many struggles with our apartment (mostly due to terrible management), there is one issue that we consistently struggled with throughout the school year: doing dishes.

My Newfound Love for Garlic and Onions

As a kid, I was an extremely picky eater. I only liked three vegetables and they were broccoli, spinach, and corn. There were some foods that I had never even tried before and convinced myself that I didn’t like. To this day, I still haven’t tried some foods, such as cherries, because of that reason. Luckily, as I’ve grown older, my taste buds have grown as well.
